Fire protection and a solid financial future are my top priorities for Cameron Park. As a Certified Internal Auditor, I understand the nexus between fiscal responsibility and providing quality fire protection, parks and recreation services to the Cameron Park residents.
To avoid future taxes or special fees that will impact our households, residents of Cameron Park need a strong representative to make sound financial decisions. Challenges to the District include bond payments and deferred maintenance on the Community Center, and rising employee salary and pension costs. Future budget decisions will require hard choices. I believe I am best qualified for this role because in addition to my professional experience, I have volunteered on many boards and committees. Most recently I served as President of the Association of Government Accountants, Sacramento and northern California. I received the Chapter Service Award in 2014. I am currently a member of the El Dorado County Community and Economic Development Advisory Committee (CEDAC), to which I was nominated by District II Supervisor Shiva Frentzen.
I care about Cameron Park because my husband and I are raising our family here. I appreciate your vote to elect a pro-active and fiscally conservative member to the Board. For information about the District visit CameronPark.org.
